College I transferred to SPC (as it was then) from Seattle Central Community college. My maiden name was Jan Page. I planned to become a teacher, but found out while in the first phase of the education program that it wasn't the program for me, because I wasn't motivated enough to work hard and succeed. I regret now that I didn't just apply myself more and stick it out. But God helps us, even when we don't work as hard as we should. I did get a BA in Communication (Speech), which was quite an accomplishment in itself. I liked a lot of my instructors, but my very favorite one was William "Doc" Hansen. He taught me so much about speaking before others, and also helped me to grow as a person. He was so kind, and had a great sense of humor. I loved him, and look forward to seeing him again in Heaven.
